I know, my friends! I know. Believe me. This is just the reason that this site needed to come into existence. Haven't you ever wondered "Why are clever or interesting people so hard to find"? Haven't you ever lamented the fact that nobody gets your obscure, literary-based jokes? Haven't you read these other people's profiles, wherever they may be, and cringed to think that these are the people that you are surrounded by?

No way out! No escape! Forever doomed to hear "i like music n stuff, hit me up if u want"! NO! This cannot be!

We need a refuge. A sanctuary. A place where we can come together, and discuss the...finer...things in life. Poetry. Philosophy. Hats! Electric-eel guns!! Rest assured that whatever we discuss, it shall be held to a...(sniffs disdainfully)...higher standard. We have long needed a sanctuary and refuge for creative persons. For intelligent persons. For persons who like punctuation! We are surrounded on all sides by a howling, ravenous wasteland of vapidity and poor grammar, my friends. Shouldn't we have a place where we can enjoy a good conversation?

I think so.

So what is this place? What am I actually proposing? I propose...a penpal service. Where each person on there has been filtered, through a fine mesh screen. Okay, it's an imaginary mesh screen.
